Demolition of the 20 towers that held the 9 curtain type antennas. 47 years challenging the tramontana (usual heavy north wind) , 5  years to finish all of them, 5 seconds were enough to destroy all… Two were of 169 meters of height. Nowadays, it has no value making something similar, but the most valuable reason to admire them is, the fact of when and how they were built , its quality work, material used, without cranes, just a very few machines to help, everything was made with the hands and talent of the workers and engineers . This was the value that this installation had, this is what can't see those who are happy to see it destroyed, those who do not mind that all were crowded of second residence building, golf fields, with forests being destroyed enriching great speculators. I am conscious that the freedom message that it emitted could not please to everybody, but who did not want to listen it, closing the radio was then no problem. However, big cannons, war, death  and destruction symbols, this is history and it must remain in mind......

It was a sad rainy day, even half an hour before the estimated destruction time, 16:00 local time, a heavy downpour fell, tears fell from sky, the sky cried due to humanity ignorance. After a while, the sky already calmed and 4 minutes before the scheduled hour, the death sentence was executed. From that day on, any evidence of the past was finally completely destroyed. 

I was there, for other reasons, from 15:00 to 15:30, at that time, 15:30, I left the execution zone of the history of Pals. I did not see it in live, I did not want to see it in live, I could not see it in live.

The used explosives were about 18Kg, distributed in about 112 detonations. The reason to have this inexact data is because I  have read it on the press. I asked to the company which did the work and had no answer from them.  Now the vacationers already will be able to enjoy the noise of the motorbikes, the strong music coming from a near camping, with its loud music until 2 or 3 am, without the  “annoyance” of the red light bulbs.
